Racing Stripes???
I'm getting the vette sprayed in a few weeks and I'm debating on throwing some racing stripes on it. If I was going to get them it would be matte black stripes on gloss black body (unless someone can change my mind). The questions is what stripes to get? Any pics of stripes that you like would be a great help!
Thanks in advance,

I don't have any pics but if I were you I'd go with the same stripes as the 60th anniversary vettes have. That would look pretty sweet in matte black or a really dark grey. If you wanted to stand out you could even get them in red or blue.

I'm not a fan of stripes, so I'd say "no stripes", but do it if you want to. The matte stripes on gloss should look pretty subtle ... and pretty good.
How does one wax the matte part? I suppose you don't wax that part? Would they eventually fade if not protected?

I say do it, if you need pics look at the black centennial editions...I believe they have the matt stripes....you might consider a very dark charcoal grey/glossy stripe...just a few shades lighter than black to get the subtle ghosting affect.

If i were getting my car sprayed, i would do it, but in paint, no stickers. as suggested a subtle shading difference would look great, as would a highly contrasting set. I wish i had the ***** to get silver ones on my 427 vert, but i dont.
