Default 2009 3lt

I am looking to trade my 99frc for a auto c6. A Chevy dealer close to me has a 2009 Cyber gray 3lt with Auto,HUD,Navigation, 14489 miles. I haved looked at the car and it looks new. 3 weeks ago they were asking
$39,000, which I told them was to much. They have dropped the price to
$36,600. With the price drops I have seen recently for new 2013 vettes
I think this price is still a little high. Am I wrong or is this a good price?
Excuse my typing as I am on my 6th Bud lite. It has been a long week.

edmunds.com prices it at about $36K for a CPO vehicle. If not CPO, maybe a couple of thousand less.
IMO, both a bit high...new 2013 1LTs can be had in the low $40Ks, I believe...

The only bad price is the one you don't pay and someone else buys the car you want. The 36k price isn't a bad price for a loaded, low mileage car. Everyone talks about the deals on the 13s driving the price down, but you have to qualify for a lot of them, and the people giving those deals don't exactly have a lot of Corvettes. Impact from that is minimal on everyone else's pricing.

maybe so (and intellectually I don't disagree), but the powertrain warranty could be almost gone...
that's worth something on a new car IMO.

I recently paid 47k for a 2011 3LT GS with 2873 miles. It also had about 12k in mods.

Hope that helps. Personally, 36k sounds about right.

Offer them 34,000 and buy an extended warrenty on the car, GMCPP can be had for a fair price and you can get a $50.00 deduct. Sounds like a good car, and a nice step up. Do what you are comfortable with. Good Luck!

Honestly, from a dealer $36k sounds just about on the money, especially if it is a CPO. You might be able to get a hair lower but I wouldn't expect it. If it were a private sale it would be more understandable.

3LT probably MSRP of 54-56k avg and sold for 48-50k, ours was 56k and we paid 47.5k off the forum.

$36k means an 09 has little depreciation, low mileage helps and is still a fair deal.

I will add this too, in you like the Cyber Gray that is a plus Seems to be a very hard color to find in a used Vette

I found one but snoozed and it was gone and never saw another one in my price range with options after that one

Default 09 Cyber gray

I don't think this is a CPO car. $34,000, is about what I am thinking this car is worth.
By the way is cyber gray as hard to keep clean as black?
Thanks for the info.

Cyber Gray is easy to keep clean especially when compared to black.

R U ion a state that pays tax, and is this kinda the one you would buy ,

if so just buy it I looked for 6 months and had the cash and finally bought one close to home in Canada instead of buying a new one and importing it and saving all of 2000 or less, if it is one you would buy if you had your drutthers (sp) then jump on it

(and oh by the way no beers when applying for the loan they frown on that ) but I do not frown on it,

have fun and make a decision Jeffer

why would some one pay 36 +- for a 08 or 09 when you buy a brand new 2013
for so little more. New car, new warranty. Sounds like a question not having to ask.

when you drive a new one off the lot lose 10k+, That should put a 2013 at 29K

For what it's worth, I paid 36,000 for 2008 3lt z51 with 7000 miles.. Jetstream blue and am very comfortable with that price from the comparable ones I have seen.

Go for it you wont look back
