You get more LOLs at your 4x4.

It would really upset me too.

One reason why they have never interested me, just to to low the front end.

Actually, I think you look funnier dragging the undercarriage of your "murdered" out Vette across every wrinkle in the road.

When trying to be funny, maybe knowing what you are talking about can help. What exactly in the undercarriage do you drag?

Maybe you need to get a lift kit.

I haven't had a problem with my OEM CF Splitter on the 427 CE Vert. My GF has a pretty steep drive.

Lived in Jax for years while serving at NAS.

Nice place to visit, but ............................

The real McCoy! Think I paid $499 for it. The leading edge is very thin. I think if it was designed with perhaps 1/4" thickness, it would be much stronger.

That's a good idea. Probably will apply some Fiberglass, sand and paint the sucker.

What do you think is on ZR1s

OH MAN, I so hate that for you. That's why we haven't put 1 on our GS, it's our dd and already very low.

We all go through splitters and airdams like we change our oil.

So you learned your lesson. Please dont repeat the lesson again with a new splitter.
I disagree. It really depends on the road conditions where you live. I daily drive mine with ZR1 CF splitter and sideskirts on my C6s for years now with no problems. You have to be careful and scan the road in front of you when driving.

Just watch how/where you drive. Mines lowered with side skirts and splitter, I have a driveway thats has a decent incline but I manage as long as I pull in at an angle.

The other day I sat in at a local Corvette club meeting and there was a couple old guys bitching about a couple Mustangs that tagged along with their last cruise, he said they were too loud and drove too fast, you kinda remind me of that old guy with your statement.....

Carbon fiber is extremely strong but cannot handle all forms of stress. Hit it the wrong way and it'll break easily. My friend cracked his ZR1s

Yet another reason as to why I have no interest in a front spoiler besides the OE rubber ones for a base model. Do they look pretty sweet and actually produce downforce? Yes. However, that has always been with the positives end for me. I can hardly keep a base front air dam from scraping, much less something that's even lower such as the Z06 or the ZR1.

Sorry about the bad break bro. no pun intended.
