Default I agree the 2LT is "rare"

I actually agree that the 2LT is a rare package because when I was looking for my car most dealerships stocked mainly 3LT with some 1LT packages.

My "rare" combination of options for an Artic White Coupe:
  • Cashmere Interior
  • Manual Trans .. yea I know, but everyone stocked white autos
  • Magnetic Ride ... hardest option to find
  • Black Headlamps
  • Transparent Top
  • Dual Mode Exhaust
  • Red Calipers
  • Chrome Wheels

I have a 3LT 13 GS, but it came with the flatulent resistant seats.

Thanks,

Default 2006 2lt

In 2006 the "base" convertible was the 2LT, which I purchased. Only the coupes were offered as 1LT cars. I did add one option, R8C. From the published lists, it appears that only about 6 silver convertibles with red interiors and manual transmissions were produced that year. "Semi"-rare .

I like the look of the pristine 'vette against the pristine white snow!

I guess I need to say this again. I used the word "rare" in a sarcastic way to emphasizethe fact that there are far less 2LT packages around. As someone pointed out, only 16% of the 2013 sales were 2LT. The word "rare' was used as an attention getter, that's all.

Just go to http://tinypic.com/ after your photo is uploaded, copy/paste the url in here with your post.

In 2011 and 2012 the HUD was part of the 3LT package.

I was originally shopping for a 2lt before I got mine, I actually got a better deal on my 3lt so that's why I went with it.

To the op, I love that color combo, I almost want black wheels and cyber grey stripes cause of those pics

Mine's a '13 Grand sport 2LT

89U (crystal red metalic tintcoat)
MZ6 (6 speed manual)
PYE (chrome wheels)
NPP (dual mode exhuast)
OB1 (embroydered on headrest)
JC6 (silver calipers)
ERI (battery charger)

When I decided to buy a new Vette last November, I missed the "sold orders" cutoff date by a few weeks which meant obviously I could not spec and order the exact car I wanted. So I ended up buying the closest thing I could find - from Tommy jr. Had I been able to spec it out my way, I'd have gone with a 1LT, titainium seats, a ZR1 spoiler, and the rest the same. I do not use the navigation, but I do use the HUD everytime I drive.

So for $2,145, the options I like and use are HUD, cargo net & shade, and one year XM radio (but car is stored 6 months in winter.)

9 speaker bose is nothing to write home about.
Bluetooth has never been used.
Navigation - really? Sofaking not worth the effort.

So, a 1LT would have basicaly saved the money to put toward real tires.

All in all I love this Vette. Hands down the nicest car I have owned.

Gorgeous picture! I don't know what I enjoy watching the most: The driveway, the landscaping or the car.... even GM couldn't come up with a more appealing ad for the vette!
Well done on all counts sir.

Maybe the salesperson has not had many people order the 2LT.

Here is my 2012 GS 2LT

4LT tends to be rare. Not many buyers wanted to pony up the cash for that.

Thanx !! As both of you fellow Floridians know, just stick a few plants in the ground, stand back, and let them grow. Disclaimer - I did wet down the pavers with a hose just before I took the photo. And for those who think silver will not give good reflections, look at the left side of the car.

A 4LT C6 would be much rarer than a 2LT. IMO
