Well 16.6% of the total number in my book is not a rare car. If you want rare, try the 1969 ZL1 Corvette. a total of 2 out of 38,762 or .00005%. Even the '67 L88 only 20 produced out of 22,940 or .00008%. So 16.6% is not a rare car.
Lets face it there is no C6 that will be considered rare for at least another 30 years, and then those will most likely be the first year or last year of the ZR1, or possibly the 2013 427 Anniversary Edition RPO Z25.

No sure how "rare" it is but I’ve got a ’13 GS 2LT coupe. If you ask me it's "well done". It has more than enough features for me.

okay not "rare", and not snow covered, but close on both counts, and I love it anyway...
BTW - Supercar F1's make really bad all season tires... I couldn't get back up the driveway after this pic...
And actually, this is probably rare... LeMans Blue, Comp Grey wheels, 2LT, MN6... in all likelihood less than 0.1% of 2005-2007s were configured this way, and less than 0.03% of C6's.
And since I added the HUD, it's almost 1 in a million!

Because that particular dealer knows very little about Corvette world stuff doesn't mean that 2LT's are rare...I have a 13 2LT.They added lots to the 2lt and it was all I needed and more actually.NOT RARE in the least.

Okay, here's the "real deal". Prior to the 2012 model year, the HUD and NAV were NOT included as part of the 2LT package. One had to order the 3LT to get those features. In the 2012 & 2013 model years, the HUD and NAV were part of the 2LT, which at about 2 grand made the 2LT package an exceptional value.
That is why when I was looking for my 2012, I specifically looked for and purchased the 2LT (and I could not be any happier)...

2lt
I ordered my base convertible this year with 2lt. Several reasons over 1lt. I wanted other than black for interior and roof and the 2LT was needed to do a D30 option to change color from black and the other reason was I wanted a manual convertible roof. I remember back in the 60's when I was young and all the grief with power top motors. I also remembered what it bitch it was to change out a hydramatic transmission so went with a six speed. The 13 has HUD as part of the package.
I got a kick out of talking with someone at the museum and he said that doctors always bought the 1LT package when they surely could afford more.
