2007 Corvette Convertible GPS Radio No CD DVD Eject
Hi folks.
I did an exhaustive search but cannot find any info regarding an issue I have with my 2007 Corvette's radio. It will not eject either the CD nor the Navigation DVD.
I get no codes, and no noises indicating any attempt of the radio to eject. It's like the button is not connected.
The cd plays normally and the GPS works fine, just no eject.
I did install a Lockpick device to provide a backup camera function, but this was a while ago and the radio was working fine with it until now.
Any tips? I have disconnected the battery for several days and nothing seems to change. I have tried to manually retrieve the CD with tweezers and a credit card, as well as pushing on it, but no results, it refuses to let go and it's hard because there is a little metal bracket that needs to be pushed aside to enable access to the CD.
Any response is appreciated. Thanks.
Joao

I carefully read your problem description Friday, thought about it for several minutes, and could not think of a solution. If there was, I am confident that someone would have replied by now.
You mentioned that you have already done an exhaustive search, so it is probably not a common problem.
As a last resort, have you considered removing the GPS radio and disassembling it? Maybe after that you'll be able to see why it won't eject discs.

Hi folks.
I would try pulling the fuse to reset radio under the carpet maybe that will work good luck

If you still have the problem, then I would suggest taking the unit out and sending it to a specialist to get it fixed. I know of a company that does this work. PM me if you want the details.
