A few months ago, about the time my ZO6 was dropped off at Straightline Performance in New Lennox Illinois, I had an itch for a new set of wheels to put on the bad boy. And because I was replacing my ZO6 brakes with the Brembo ZR1 Badboys, I needed a set of wheels that could not only clear the new brakes which were powder coated PEARL LAMBO ORANGE, but a set of wheels that would accentuate the beauty of both the car and those calipers. Reading countless reviews on various Wheel Vendors, I was blessed to have encountered Gerry. When I called up Gerry to inquire about the HRE P40SC'S, he answered everyone of my questions and was not one bit irritated by my huge list of questions and concerns. Gerry never pressured me to buy the wheels, considering the price of the HRE's, but rather, gave me the necessary knowledge to make an informed decision. I ordered the wheels in ZR1 fitment, and went 20's all around. Hell, my initial order was 20's front and 21's in the rear with 375's but Gerry advised me that the tires would be difficult to obtain in the future 375's lol. I asked if we could revert to 20's all around and even though the order was sent to HRE, Gerry said no problem, changed the order, and paid for the order change penalty by HRE, himself. This is the excellent service I received through Gerry, and when my wheels came in as promised, I understood why they call him the best. He got me the BEST price on these wheels. I literally called over thirty shops and I was just getting murdered by their prices! All in all, the HRE P40SC Tinted Brush Finish I ordered in 20's was the best price I came upon. Mind you, the Tinted Brush Finish is one of the most expensive finishes HRE offers. Because of his price point, what was once a dream turned very quickly to reality. I'm so dam excited to get these wheels on my car. My car is still in the shop, but once she is out, she will be professionally photographed, and pics will be posted.
