California Emissions and Warranty are two separate items.

However, for the most powerful, reliable, 50-State Emissions Compliant SuperCharged Corvettes, I invite you to test drive a Callaway Corvette @ www.callawaycars.com or visit our Showroom in Santa Ana, CA

Of course, our cars have the most Powerful Powertrain warranty, too, which supplements your GM Powertrain Warranty like no other. We also retain factory-like drivability.

I only know of two ways to have a supercharges Corvette and a full factory warranty, and they are buy a ZR1 or get a Callaway from an authorized Chevy dealer.

So if you have Callaway install a blower on your Corvette, that voids the warranty? I'm surprised. Mine is out of warranty anyway...

I think there are multiple thought streams going on here...

Emissions warranty, in this case, California.

If the supercharger is CARB certified, the supercharger manufacturer is responsible for any failure of emissions testing traced to the supercharger. GM is off the hook (unless of course we're talking ZR1).

If the item is not CARB certified, there is no emissions warranty in CA, and the owner may be in violation of CA law.

For drivetrain warranty, GM would not be on the hook for any engine or drivetrain failure attributed to the extra power. Callaway offers a warranty on their cars, of course.

If an aftermarket installation is deemed by GM to have caused a transmission failure or rear axle failure, that would not be covered by GM. You'd have to read any warranty provided by Any supplier very carefully to see what they cover. Most will not cover damage other than failure of their own parts.

If it is out of warranty, there is no problem. I am not sure if you have a full warranty on the car and you take it to Callaway, how the warranty works. I do know that there are specific Chevrolet dealerships that are authorized Callaway dealers and when you order you new Corvette, you can order it as a Callaway package. The car then leaves Bowling Green and is shipped to Callaway, where they do their magic and then ship it to your dealer. that one will still carry a complete new car warranty from GM.
