That's awesome! Having seen this car not too long ago, it does not look like it should anywhere close to that many miles on it.

When I ordered my Z51 yesterday the dealer had some writeup from the factory that 'estimated' 20K range on the new run flat pilots. I gotta wonder if people didn't drive them like they're meant to be driven, how far could they really go?
Sounds like you're enjoying yours to the max

Chris,
That's awesome and a testiment to Chevy technology. Not to sound negative, do you contribute the rock solid performance because of the Callaway package or that Corvettes and LSx engines can take a beating and come back for more or both?
Nevertheless, impressive.
Congrats!

One could surmise that building power is the easy part - but making it work, and work well in an enjoyable package that looks like it's always been there from day-1, and has the aforementioned virtues, is much more difficult, but it's what we do best.
If we can ever put you behind a Callaway vehicle of your own for a test drive, please let us know - thanks!

I'd be interested in hearing what your recommended alignment settings are for longer-life street-driven tires. Presume you're talking as opposed to track/competition alignment settings? Reason I ask is that I just bought my first car and the steering feels very twitchy...sensitive? Yeah, I know it's a Vette, but wondered if that was a function of alignment, the super wide tires, or simply the nature of the beast. As an added question, I saw the suggested tire pressure for the '13 GS was 30 all around. Would I see an improvement in tire life if I bumped the pressures up to 35? It's a convertible, so I'm not gonna be tracking this thing. Thx for the help!

I saw the car at Bloomington Gold. I knew your were judging so I didn't look you up. We were there on Saturday only and left early due to the rain. So here is your "Hello" .

160 in the rain???! in a corvette???!! crazy! I just picked up my baby 2 days ago, and i had a 400 mile ride... i was affraid to go past 60-70mph. Then rain got really bad and i barelly touch the gas pedal and back end went sideways. **I do have wide tires 295/345.... In my m3' i've done 140 in the rain...
but good stuff!
