2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
We used to use it on our leather shoes back in high school. We even put it on the tile floors for a great shine, but that didn't go over to well with the faculty.

Had heard stories on using Pledge to shine the car but have not done so on mine. May have to give it a shot and see how well it does. Thanks for the tip.

I also own a 69 Z28. The car is basically a trailer Queen. I only use Pledge both on the inside and outside. As a Tire dressing I get the best luster without the look of tire shines. Been using it on this car for 25yrs.

I use to use it on my motorcycles years ago. Had one fade terribly from red to orange. Wasn't sure if lack of UV protection was the reason. It does shine well though. Haven't used it on a car.

The voice of reason and common sense.
It amazes me that daily on this forum somebody offers an opinion or advice backed up by others with similar advice or experience only to be chastised for doing something a little out of the ordinary. I've learned so much on this forum about cars from the old-timers with years of car and life experience. Generally, the old-timers offer a suggestion or some advice and then the immature name calling and jokes begin. I prefer to just PM them to get more insight and the old-timers always respond. We all have our own "smell test." If it smells right to me I try it. If it doesn't I don't.
