Call Tommy Jr at MacMulkin. This guy is the real deal and will not play games. He does not charge a documentation fee, something that is unheard of in the car business. I bought a Silverado Z71 and GS, he has a customer for life.

Biggest bunch of scum bags I have ever dealt with. Hell is going to be raised in that dealership tomorrow. I was promised 2 corvette shirts 2 months ago when I bought my car from them. 2 months later, no shirts. As small as it may seem, its BS.

Bought my 12 coupe left over in nov 12 from the Hendrick dealer here. Everything on the lot is marked over msrp. You can work a deal but it is a pain to do. I ended up getting the same deal I could get from the major forum dealers in the end with a LOT of haggle. I will say their service dept has been good to work with.

Default Dealerships

My trusted dealership went from user friendly to profit hungry. Changed everyone in the dealership including one owner. I am moving on to Tommy Jr. Should have done that years ago anyway.

Hendrick = high prices.

Jim Ellis = great maintenance, as they have David Fulcher there.

Sell privately and buy from Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin in NH. Great prices, no haggle, and superior customer service. My 2012 GS was $7k less through MacMulkin compared to the best price I could get from Hendrick.

If new buy from forum dealer used Jim Ellis and see Reggie as mentioned above. And David Fulcher is the man when it comes to Corvettes old or new.
I also feel that the old bill heard employees went to Rick Hendrix to ply their trade mark wham bam get em while you can.

Default Dealers

I called Reggie at Jim Ellis today. I told him I was looking for a 2008-2009 Auto, any color but black. He currently doesn"t have what I am looking for, but he will get back to me as soon as he has what I want.

Even though I basically bought from an individual the deal was done through Tommy Jr (the previous owner ordered a new C7 and they were doing deal as a trade in) and every thing I did was smooth as glass

Very top notch group on phone/email and kept me informed the entire time

You can just tell when you are dealing with straight shooting dealerships, I did inquire from Hendrick about a couple of used models and pretty much on the phone told me PRICE IS WHAT IT IS so I did not waste my time with them

Still they are bombarding me with emails

In this day and age I can't believe their business model is working!? They prey on ignorance and assume no one will compare via the internet. These days a plane ticket is cheap. They infuriated me over a 3 day period and finally walked out for the last time. I found and did my deal over the phn w/ Jim Ellis in Atlanta. Beat Hendricks by thousands. 69 dollar plane flight and the picked me up at the airport, drove home 5 hrs. Done 1 day saved thousands no bull. I drove right over to my neighborhood Hendicks and showed the sales manager that wasted my time my new Z07!!!! And yes I had my sales form and rubbed it in good!!!! Told them time is money i was sending him a bill!!! LOL I enjoyed that day immensely!! Hendricks sucks! saw Mr Hendricks at the Palm beach Barrett Jackson auction buying his million dollar C7....He won't ever get a dime from me.

Default A picture is worth 1,000 words:

Everytime that I watch some of the bidders at BJ auction, I am unsuccessful in avoiding the smug, self- righteous look of superiority as he casually buys another over priced car. Not with my $ either!

Though I had a good experience with Rick Hendrick in Duluth, try Buyavette down the Perimeter. Great people to work with and a good selection too.

Negotiated with one sales person over the phone to get the deal I wanted. When I got there they passed me off to someone else and the numbers they offered were not even close. I was lied to and drove an hour to get there just to find out they'd say anything to get me in the door. I purchased elsewhere and am happy.

Their service in Durham is terrible. Service writers are good, the actual work - sloppy and incomplete. Recent oil change and they forgot to fully insert the dipstick. Then dirtied my mat because they didn't use a protector sheet. I am looking elsewhere for any future service.

If you are buying a used vette I would check out Buyavette.net in Atlanta, or Rogers corvette in Orlando. I bought my last new vette from Hendricks because it was the only local dealer in Charleston but it was a challenge. Took two days. I have purchased two used vettes from Buyavette and had nothing but good experiences. Good luck.

Wow, I have never considered buying from Hendrick, but I definately wouldn't now after reading all of these stories. There are lots of good dealers out there to work with. Thanks for the heads up...that's what I like about CF.

With so many negative accounts regarding his dealerships it's kind of amazing how the guy can be so successful.
