New Member, 08 AW base Vette.
Gonna pull the trigger on a 08 base Artic White Vette on Saturday.
Can't wait.
Needs tire though. I want a quiet tire but sticky. Heard the Invo's are good. I might go a size bigger though, 255/40/ 18 and 295/35/19.
Good to be here and will be fairly active member,
Cheers

I bought my 08 last fall, and have really enjoyed it so far. Its been a great car with no problems. I had to put new tires on too. I went with Firehawk Wide Ovals, and they have been excellent tires.

Congrats , I also have a base C6 :
In my opinion staying with the stock tire size is your best bet. I think going bigger changes the suspension dynamics . The Vette is tuned with the stock size tires in mind.
I upgraded to the Z51 sway bars for a big improvement in handling.
I also use the poly bushings in the sways. Turned my car into a sports car as opposed to a Boulevard cruiser. $ 200.00 total.
Don't change the shocks or the springs ,it messes things up.
