I'm the OP. I definitely know its the foot. It was a fun comment saying that the exhaust sounds so good I can't and don't want to keep my foot out of it. Like prior post said, I don't give a crap about mpg when it sounds so good.

Sorry fella, I do not agree with you at all on this. I have had headers on several cars. No big deal any longer as here you cannot use the stock hp let alone more hp and torque! Drag strips are almost all gone. Plus, for me, I dislike the sound of headers.
Great if you are 20 something but not for a mature Corvette driver.

It's the lead foot not the stainless headers, LOL.

I can't disagree with you more. I'm 58 and I would love to be able to put headers on my Corvette, but the Cali smog cops have other ideas.

I will never get over the sound of headers and Thrush mufflers that I had on my '65 GTO when I was a teenager!

Got the same issue - did PHADT headers, cam and Calloway honker and my mpg is around 14 now but what fun!

When you see thar arrow on the HUD it means pick a new gear ,not it wants more gas!!!

Cycleman, did you install them yourself? Are they Pfadt? Do you need a lift or can it be done on the shop floor with jackstands.
Mine's a 013 so I have to wait for warranty to run out.
