What brand of fuel
Just curious if y'all like any brand of fuel or is premium fuel pretty much the same
For some reason I have always been told that Amoco/BP Premium fuel is better than others over the years
How true is that or just as long as proper octane rating is good it is all equal

Do a Search here for Top Tier Gas, sit back and enjoy an evening of reading.
Look especially for posts by member LDB, a retired oil company engineer.
Executive summary:
Some people think it's a gimmick by the oil companies, but it was actually started by the car makers to reduce warranty claims.
Keeps your engine cleaner but may cost slightly more.
BP Premium was once claimed to meet the Top Tier specs, but BP is not on the list. That's not conclusive, because to be on the list ALL of the grades sold at ALL of the stations, must be Top Tier.

I prefer Sunoco and Chevron but they left the area several years ago. Now I go between Shell, BP and Exxon.

I prefer Exxon because 'Merica.
I like Shell because my car seems to run better (mpg, power) on it. It's probably in my head, but it costs me $1.60 a week or so extra. I don't really care.
I stay away from Chevron because I hate their damn blasting ads when I'm filling up, and I hate their stupid car mascot thing.
I stay away from BP because they're reckless as a corporation (living in TX, I have a lot of oil and gas friends. It's a complete consensus that a major ecological disaster was imminent based on the way they operate).

I generally only use Chevron, bonus is I can use our Safeway gas discount of 20c there as well. Don't really know the connection between the two, but I rarely/never use Safeway gas.

Go Canes!
Whichever station I pull into first!!!
I will only use Premium, of course, but wherever I happen to be when I need gas is where I am filling up!!!

Do the same here as long as i is 91 octane. Usually end up at Arco or Costco which are both competitively priced.
I prefer Chevron the best (most expensive). Safeway stores here are suppose to be also selling Chevron gas.

Ok, around these parts, there are several refineries. All but one can only process light sweet crude. All but one are the same brand. All distribute to every name gas station here, with the only difference being the final additives, usually tint color to distinguish brand.
There is also one "refinery" that is now just a tank farm, which distributes fuel produced overseas out of the port of wilmington to its convenience stores around philly..that fuel does not go in the vette even though its the cheapest.
