Furthermore:
It's called a bloody indicator, because it indicates WTF you're attempting to accomplish. So indicate your attempt so I can circumvent your stupidity.

I don't care you have a baby on board, YOU do, so drive defensively if need be, but don't be all mother Hubbard, lane ****, just to prove you're a self indulgent d-bag that wants the world to bend to your will.

And if I'm going xxx, then you best be moving over or your shorts are gonna get dirty when I buzz your tower!

I'm ~30 and have the utmost respect for LEOs.

But they (you) are in a position to meter out justice - so 'fairness' and perception are possibly the two most important components to your job.

I would get jaded seeing what the LEOs see TBH, so I'm glad I'm not one. (but thanks for doing it)

Every off duty cop I have talked to have said the type of car and color make no difference (even though I am always more paranoid when in the vette).

You lost me at "they're a slice of America".....
Good ole' demagoguery used by a "slice of America" to keep ignorance at an optimized high by flattering the illiterate and keeping them voting against their own interests.
Bringing too much of the "you're either with us or against us" sad slime memories.

As you said, "professional courtesy" is a well known perk that comes with your job, and I for one, can live with it, even if it triggers a bit of bitterness at times.
Just enjoy it, but if I were in your shoes I wouldn't elaborate that much and that long on it.

MALIGATOR RULES! (He's the only LEO I know of, that actually tickets the lame idiots sitting on the passing lane because they think they can dictate what speed you should not go beyond). My kinda LEO!

Those people don't wear pocket protectors and tailored suits. They certainly don't boast IQ's. They drive 5 axle semis and are a slice of America. I still ain't writing LEO'S. Sorry about the ain't, I won't get into my degrees and or education. Whatever it is was enough to afford me what I currently enjoy and it's enough for me. Take care everyone
I dont really work for the IRS. lol I was using it as an example.

My hat is off to 99.9999% of police officers. My god father was one, many of my friends are, and I think of them all the time.

I didn't see the word justice in your quote, but I could have spelled it wrong. Not an English major or very good at typing. If you're going to judge intelligence by spelling then I don't rate very high. Never said I was Einstein just pointing out that when I was called an idiot it may have been unjustified (did I spell it right?). I guess you weren't quick enough to get that.

Guyfromlemans....... It wouldn't allow allow me to add your quote to my response so I will just respond......
A. I will have look up that big D word you used before I respond. If I'm not mistaken though, you were suggesting the 5 axle drivers are illiterate. Your literary skills far exceed any level of education I've afforded myself but I seriously doubt you've achieved the level of success I have.
B. where in any of my posts did I mention professional courtesy ? It's about not being an idiot and writing other po's citations for traffic violations.
C. I am somewhat familiar with the term and or screen name Maligator. He might be an LEO and his dogs name might be Keno.
D. I don't really care where I lost you at........I'm just glad I lost you.

Every on-duty cop you talk to will also say the type and color make no difference.

OP - may I ask how you got your blend mount and escort live to work together with out unsightly wires hanging down ? Can you post any pics f your set up ?

For others- I get how the radar mounts with hidden wires and blend mount, it's the required Bluetooth cig lighter device that communicates your iPhone / droid with your radar I'm concerned with

I was not. You were, more or less indirectly honey bun:

You're right. You called it "brotherhood/sisterhood".

We all have our doubts pumpkin, but the constant underlying bitterness, if not anger, revealed in your posts and directed to "the world against you" prompts me to have my own doubts, with respect to your definition of "success"... or as someone else put it:

Holy Crap! Leo's and Leo lovers calm down and go have another doughnut and coffee. We all know how special you are.
Speeders hit the pedal and proceed with caution.

The car has nothing to do with it. Put yourself in the cop's position. You're doing this for 8 hours, sometimes you're bored, sometimes it's not nice out, sometimes you're too busy, sometimes you're tired, sometimes you're happy. I'm sure not more than 5 minutes pass, for any cop looking for a speeding car, anywhere. From then on, it's just a matter if it's worth them going for you or wait a few more minutes to catch another that's speeding much faster.

I am over the speed limit all the time, but at 115km/h in a 100km/h zone, it's just not worth it for them. Radar detectors are not legal here either.

Enough. Some more folks forgetting what this forum's supposed to be about.

The Forum should be a place where we treat one another with civility so that it remains a fun and friendly place to hang around with other Corvette enthusiasts. Hostility to others is rude and inappropriate.

Personal attacks cannot be tolerated. Attack ideas, not fellow Forum members.
If you've got a post missing from this thread, it probably means you forgot this when posting.
