Default Thinking of Stripe's

I have been toying with the idea of putting stripe's on my car. Something to make it look a little different from the other Machine Silver vettes running around my area. I saw these and I think they look pretty good. What are your guys opinion of these pewter stripes on machine silver. Good, bad or ugly?

I like them...personally if I were you I'd go a shade darker on the stripe and powdercoat or buy comp grey wheels to compliment...i have a black vette and am now thinking of powder coating my wheels matt or satin black and throwing down a matt black stripe similar in design to your pic...good luck!

I love stripes on corvettes. They really show off the body lines. What I'm not a fan of is using straight lines down a hood that has distinct angular body lines. My opinion - If you're going to put the stripes on, at least have them follow the gorgeous body lines on the vette. More like what you see on the 60th Anniversary C6

or even this:

Good luck!

The subtle look of the pewter on silver is very good looking IMO.

thought about doing mine, (Black) but not sure how good they would look on a vert. Same with pewter color.

^ I think subtle stripes are classy - while stripes with more contrast are racy.

I too am considering the 60 anniversary stripes from vettestripes. But I seem to be backing away because that's a lot vinyl on a brand new cyber gray paint. $900 is significant cost if I don't like them and have to remove.

I want black metallic stripes on my cyber gray 2012 GS vert in the 60 anniversary style. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is my first corvette.

I sort of thought the same thing about that design. Looks a little funny where the stripes leave the hood line above the bumper. And they do have a design on the site that does follow the lines better. But to me on that design it looks like the stripes are to narrow and close together on the front bumper.

Bro dont pay $900 for that crap....just use plastidip flat black for your stripes....im assuming you have skills artistically...if not still $900 is way too much for a sticker bro...yes I realize you have to measure and line it up right but that's a lil steep...

I think they look good I like that they are subtle. I would have them painted and not use a stick on decal type. The painted ones always look classy great look IMO

The stripes look really classy, and works really well with your color combo.

I'm not typically a fan of stripes, however I do have to admit that that color combination is pretty catchy. I like the subtleness it exudes.

They look okay, I like the stripes but I would go with another color to offer more of a contrast and really make the exterior "pop".
