Anyone else use a "California Duster"?

As long as you let it air out for 24 hours as instructed and don't drop it on the ground it works miracles! Use it every morning before I go to work as long as it isn't raining. Won't scratch the paint as long as you use it to lightly dust the car. Went to a carshow one time and saw a guy that looked like he was forcefully scrubbing his car with it, almost face-palmed, it was that bad.

I have used the duster for years,on the bike and vette, (one for each)
The only thing with the pollen,if you dust it daily fine, but do not let the pollen buildup a couple of days or so,in which case the duster will not really be that effective. At least here in the Northeast.

I have one, and so far very disappointed. It leaves streaks and smudges that look pretty ugly in the right light on '12 Torch Red coupe. The best work it did was dusting off a 10' X 10' white vinyl tent that had accumulated dust at an art show. Really can't tell if there were streaks, but it didn't matter. Perhaps it's too new to perform correctly.

YES
Used them for many years. Found it best to use it with just the tips of the duster touching the paint. Leaves no streaks, yet gets the dust. Works best on a clean, waxed car that just gets a light coating of dust.
As others have said, the more they are used, the better they work.

Yep, greatest thing since sliced bread. I've been using it for many many years. At a car show, it is vital to dust the car before the judges come by.

Think I got my first one about 1992 used it on my black 91 454SS show truck. You know how black is to keep clean. Gave it to the new owner when I sold in in 04. (He is still using it!)
Have another that I started using on my 98 vert and then a 05 vert and now on my 07 Z06. Never leave home without it.

Mine works great on dust (black '06). I've had it for years. Just follow the directions exactly - first wrap it in paper when new to absorb excess wax, shake it out before and after each use, sweep with a light touch.

I can't understand why they are called a 'California Duster'.
The better quality 'Original California Duster' have a wood handle (not plastic) and are made in Korea ... should be called a 'Korean Duster'
