Default Offset/Wheel Size + lowering combo to "fill in" wheel well on regular C6??

Sorry if the thread title is confusing, but I am starting my search for new wheels for my regular C6 (2006 Z51 to be exact).

I have poured over tons and tons of threads and I cant quite find authoritatively which wheel size/offset and/or lowering forumla that makes the regular Vette's wheel well area look properly filled out.

(the closest comparison that I can think of is how a set of SS rims made the late 90's Camaros really "wake up" over the stock Z28 rims)

The exact look that I am trying to describe (at least i hope):

The wheels to sit JUST flush with the fender well to slightly poked out and the car to be lowered JUST enough to fill in the nasty gap (im not talking low rider or "slammed".... just agressive (if that makes any sense).

Thanks for any input.
