Who doesn't like body colored headlights?
I don't like them. Especially on red cars. When did they start doing that?
I was looking at a red 2013 and the headlights got on my nerves. I'd rather see it silver or gray.
What do you guys think? Anybody ever buy a red car and swap them out?

I agree. To me they are trim pieces and not body panels. It makes the car look like a cheap paint job where the trim pieces were not removed but just painted over.
A lot of people have them replaced or ordered gray from the factory.

Since I haven't followed Corvettes for a few years I would like to know when they made different colored headlights an option?

I like the look.

I have to agree with the OP on this. The red C6's with the same colored headlights look like a cartoon character from a cars movie. Other colors don't give me that impression.

My vote goes for the body colored matching headlights.

I think the contrasting color headlights cheapen the look of the car and reminds me more of what you see the kids doing on their ricers. Why would someone want to make the headlights stand out from the car instead of blending in like the body colors do?

hehehe...!! I knew this was going to be polarized.
It's all down to personal preference. There is no right or wrong. I just happen to like breaking up the body color with tasteful accents.
I can tell you from experience with this car out in the public eye, it gets a LOT of attention. No blending in with the mainstream here.
