That is strange as I can see it on my computer in my original post and in your quote. Your computer settings must not be allowing it to show.

I prefer the headlights match the car. Makes the front look sleeker. The factory blended the lights into the design to be a part of the car, not the "oh" we forgot the headlights just plop them here, look. I like the front design as originally presented by GM.

Put me on the side of body colored headlights look better. In my opinion anyway. I've looked at VY cars with different colored headlights, and I don't know. It just looks like the car isn't finished being built yet.

One more vote for the body matching colored lights.
I've liked the looks since I first saw it on the 3000GT in the late 90's:
But like it even better the vette's way: assembly interior painted and clear glass on top.
I think it looks killer with all finishes, and particularly the white for some reason. And it's an impartial opinion, I don't own a white one.

I'm guessing that only 5.5% don't like the body colored headlights as only 1,390 out of 25,243 were built in 2011 & 2012 with off colored headlights.
That's a resounding 94.5% positive for the body colored headlights.
So what does GM do when a paltry 5.5% of the C6's built(when they were an option in 2011 & 2012) have off colored headlights, they make them standard on the C7. Nothing like the minority ruling.

Something has always bugged me about body colored and black. It finally dawned on me when I saw the C7 - I don't think it's the color, it's the simplicity of the internal shapes; it's basically just a surface with a couple bulb housings bulging out of it and little depressions in front of them; there's no emotion to them. The C7 headlights in my humble opinion are incredible - not only are they black but the LED strips, multiple shapes, and bulb housings come together into this complex evil "I'm gonna ram my hood up your ___" look.
