How Do I Fix Scuffs On Interior Door Handle
Here is a pic of the damage. Honestly it looks worse in person. I tried using magic eraser as was suggested in a different thread. If anything it made it look worse because it made it look dry. Am I going to have to replace the handle or does someone have an idea how to fix this? Thank you for your input.

I saw a company here selling leather covers for these handles, may be cheaper than replacing them with OEM as well. may have been corvettemods.com, look under interior parts.

I have not been a fan of the door handle wraps, but I could see them as a very good, long-term solution in your case.
There are some interior cleaners that will mask the problem for a few days, but the boo-boo's will come back.

I have the leather wraps from WCC about $15 each.
I just checked they have them on sale for $24.95 for the pair!! They are under mislanious interior.

I don't know about those wraps. They really don't do much for me, but it does probably look better than the scuff marks. I was really hoping to find a way to get rid of them without replacing the handle itself.

Drifting
sometime ago we had similar scratches on our leather sofa caused by our dogs nails, we tried cleaners & everything else that was recommended nothing would get rid of the damage, finally we tried an expert leather / upholstery repair person & he was able to remove & fill in the damaged areas to where you could not see them at all, he used a filler with a hair dryer to smooth everything out while blending it in. I would check for leather repair service person in your area & see what they can do. at least it's a starting point, good luck.

Also look into a good, color coded leather conditioner at a leather or shoe repair shop. Harley makes one for black sets and saddle bags that makes scratches disappear and shines the material to a new luster. Just an idea.

I've got a few scratches on my driver's door handle that I am constantly applying Aerospace 303 to. A few days after I picked up my car at the museum, I decided I'd eventually buy the 4LT handles...It's been over 5 years now and I'm still "drenching" the handle with Aerospace 303, as it seems to do a pretty good job; although your handle looks a lot worse than mine. Good Luck.

It can be fixed. I had some issues like that when purchasing a 2010 and the dealer had their interior guy, who comes once a week just to fix such instances, take care of it. There were some places that where worse than what you are showing - I thought I would just have to replace the part, but nope, he took care of it. Don't know what he did, but made it look like new again.
