Are C5 Owners Jealous ?
I have been to the local Grocery Store a few times recently in my new GS Vert and parked next to some C5's on different occasions.Every time I came back to my car the C5 owners were getting into theirs and they wouldn't even look over to say hi.This has happened at least 5 or 6 times in the last month.I find this very strange,has this happened to anyone else ??

Pretty self indulgent there. I don't have the need to talk to strangers when I am out running errands. Congrats, you have the some namesake vehicle that I do. That makes me, you, and about a million other people.

2015 C7 of the Year Finalist

Just because they don't say "hello" doesn't mean that they are jealous. They might just be stuck up ****** that have no idea about corvette hospitality.

Don't want to be part of it. But I would say its a bit self indulgent. Jealous of what? It's a Corvette. I don't need someone to look at me when I park at the store.

I doubt it's jealousy. There are Corvette owners and there are Corvette enthusiasts. You can always tell which by their reactions or lack thereof. Don't let it bother you.

Let me explain something to you ! when Corvette owners see each other at the very minimum they wave.I have always struck up conversations with people in Corvettes when I see them in parking lots.

I find it is a lot like the Wave, some do and some don't. Same when I meet other Corvette owners in the parking lot, etc. Some nod and say nice Vette what year, etc. others get in their Vette and on their way.
Do not think it has anything to do with jealousy just the old saying different strokes for different folks.
