Opinions on new hood we're going to build
Hey guy's, I just picked up an OEM hood to get a new hood built for the C6's. We have a few aggressive hoods already so this time around, I'd like to get something built that isn't as aggressive. Im still thinking a slight cowl, maybe an inch or so but nothing crazy. Also thinking about adding a couple vents, but again, i'd like to keep them relatively small and really clean looking. Im just looking for some thoughts and possible ideas for vents etc. They can be off current hoods, vehicles etc that we could incorporate into this hood. Ideas and opinions are appreciated. Thanks

I've forever liked the L88 hood but I'd have to see it photoshoped on a C6 hood before I could say for certain. Just tossing you a bone for thought.

How about a B92 replica hood with a couple of vents on the sides? 427 owners could retain their full length stripes, if needed. It would be a little more aggressive than stock and with the vents, give it a race look.
For GS and Z06 owners with "regular" hoods, it would offer a low cost option to buying an ultra expensive OE B92 hood. GS and Z06 owners could also add a full length stripe package to really give their car a unique look.

For something stylish, subtle, with a slight cowl, and tasteful vents I'm partial to the
RK Sport/Violator hood that SicMSP used to sell.
Pics (hope mcandrew67 doesn't mind.)
Of course, the Caravaggio is a nice look, too. Some combination of the Violator and Caravaggio at the right price point and build quality would be ideal.

^ Why does sicmsp no longer sell them? I like that look, but would most likely change the vents up a bit that way it's something different. How tall is the cowl on the violator hood?

I will measure the height of the cowl when I get home, I did it once before for someone but don't recall what it was.
