I agree! Definitely a "select road" type of song.

Lately for my drive to and from work has been live shows from Umphrey's McGee, JJ Grey & Mofro's latest studio album "This River" and all of Drive-By-Truckers studio albums.

But on the way to the gym, I turn up the bass and listen to some rap, trap, or dubstep to get me fired up to throw some weights around.

If that was the Les Paul birthday show I have the DVD and it was a great show. If you haven't listened to her own music I suggest you look into it. It's all available on amazon.

I was stuck in the music I grew up with, 50's-60's, early 70's, for so long I'm finally listening to some newer stuff like Metallica. Anything but today's country pop and bands like Greenday, which my wife and daughter love.

My radio reads it's on a station but all I seem to hear is "Good Years near the end" and "NPP Open Exhaust." I love the exhaust song but the Good Years I have to address in the very near future. The "NPP Open Exhaust" will be playing a little louder in the near future with engine and header mods, I should hear that and the actual radio with the Michelin's...

The wife likes the XM radio, so we listen the 70's when she is in the car. When I'm by myself: AC/DC, Judas Priest, KISS and Chicago.

That's what is was mostly but Imelda did quite a bit of her own stuff as did Jeff but together, they did a lot of Rockabilly music that was a gas!!! Imelda is doing voice overs now for those new little Fiat 500 ads.

Shostakovich String quartet no. 3. If I saw this yesterday the answer would have been Pitbull. Variety of musical tastes.

One must listen to Throttlerod whilst driving a Vette.
Might I suggest the entire Hell or High Water album for starters. (You can expect your first speeding ticket midway through Whistlin' Dixie.) When your heart starts to fail from the adrenal shock of wall-to-wall Les Paul guitar rock, throw a lipper in and slow it down with some Drive By Truckers. A shiny C6 blaring some DBT confusies yuppies, promotes Patriotism and attracts beautiful ladies with lower back tattoos and great attitudes. For added effect, grow a mullet and bring a camera.

Enjoy this American recipe for awesomeness responsibly.

A college band from Kent OH that I saw play on Saturday. Really good music. Had to buy their CD.
