Replacing upper seat back - does seat need to be removed?
Question for you folks who have replaced your covers.
I'm replacing my 2013 upper seat cover w/ a logo headrest cover.
Do i need to remove the seat or can it be done in place?
If removal is the way to go - is it just 4 bolts and unplugging the harness?
Thanks - sorry i searched and didn't find the info i needed...

Remove the seat... hardest part is unplugging the wiring harnesses -- simple when you know how.

Had mine done by Steve Doten (forum vendor) and watched the process. Much easier if you take out the seats. Also, if you have a removable roof take it off.
Pull the fuse for the air bag too.
Remember, the new seat cover may not be fully tight when first installed, just park it in the sun for a bit and it will tightened up.
Good Luck

Actually 5 bolts. There is one holding the seat belt in place. It's a two minute job if you understand how the electrical connectors unhook.
