013 tail light grills
hi forum members, have a question maybe one of you members can help me out. i'm looking for the painted tail light grills (louvers) for my 013. but, i don't want the double face tape ones. i've seen the ones you screw on, i forget the site that sells them. i would appreciate any feed back on this issue, thank you.

Try ZIP one of the forum vendors, I know they sell them but not sure if they are the screw in types.

zip has them, just not unpainted. i'll buy the yellow and take them to the body shop to have them painted nrb. i just don't understand why the nrb isn't out on some of the mods yet. one co. has them, but, in double faced tape. last thing i want is to spend money on something just to have it fly off on the highway, thanks.

I've been a car (and motorcycle) enthusiast since I could drive in 1987 and I've owned several interesting cars over the years both here and abroad, such as the Pontiac Firehawk, Lotus Elise, and Saturn Sky Redline Stage 2. I've noticed the culture for Corvette owners is the exact opposite of the ricer community, and that is, as Don Felder states in Takin' a Ride that the "clean Corvette" is the way to go.
I really considered the blackouts on the tail lights of my '12 GS Cent, but.. nope. Honestly, the way to go is pure stock and clean. Super clean without being insanely obsesive (like claying 'er for 10 hours monthly). I have to admit I did get Lloyd's GS mats to replace the rather laughable stock ones, getting the "old skool" (ahem) dead-pedal switch mild-2-wild for my NPP exhaust, and I'm seriously considering the Diablo inTune, but that's it.

If I was faced with the NRBM color issue, I would order black and see how that looked. Then, if I didn't care for the black on the car, and wanted them painted to match, the color change would not be so dramatic.
Painting NRBM over yellow doesn't seem the right approach, is it?

I agree, and strongly prefer the clean look. So no grills are going on my car - however:

Yeah, yeah; it's totally fun to play with all the simple cosmetic mods to these cars. And I knew that mess shown in post #9 wasn't yours.
Btw, I love the NRB color.
I never found one used, and couldn't pop for new.

We have a saying-"Looks like an Ecklers catalog threw up on it." What some people do to those poor cars....
