This is corvette forum, where trapping 15-20mph slower than someone means that you're close or faster than them.
And you can throw in the word nitrous to make it faster.

Well, the shop really only had the car for like 3 weeks or so. First week was the clutch going in then finding out my fuel pump wasn't keeping up. So, my next day off I took up a fuel system I had bought off of here to them. That was a pricey job for labor. That went in and found out EVERY line that came with the system was bad. Now pull all lines and replace them... I got it back yesterday and am still breaking in the clutch. I love the sound at idle. The bike doesn't make me feel that good. Plus 1 for the car!

it takes a really great rider to run even those times, if the factory says 10s most riders get 12s just because your c6 wont beat a Honda Silverwing or a 883 Sporster mine willthrow in their swing arm

How did my thread go from me being nervous about not enjoying my corvette as much as my bike to bikes running 2 seconds slower and corvettes not being able to beat bikes? I know corvettes are fast and can be faster than bikes. I know bikes are fast and can be faster than corvettes. How does this help me not be upset that I spent a ton of money on my vette and have it still be slower than my bike? Oh well... I don't have to wear a helmet in my vette so there is another plus for it

Well, probably to keep close to your subject or original question you should have left the bike out of the thread honestly. Anyone knows you'll never get the same rush driving a car as you do a bike.
I would honestly say driving a high horsepower car on the street takes a little fun out of it to be honest with you. I did about the same mods as you on my 2010 Camaro SS, supercharger, LS9 cam, long tube headers, smaller pulley, cold air intake, etc. I am at 595 rwhp with the belt slipping (gotta fix that) and it probably has 25 or so more rwhp left to go.
At any rate it is a little bit of a beast to drive on the street. I can break it loose with the traction control on pretty easy and getting up to speed is a little ridiculous so you have to watch out for the heavy foot.
Then after you realize how much money you have into it you realize it really isn't worth driving around too much and then it sits in the garage.

Don't be so upset that you're wrong.
And FYI, trapping 132 isn't close to 144, which is also the shittiest run I've ever seen. And it's still 10mph faster than you.

You safer in the Vette, enjoy both safely.
Bike safty takes a lot of maturity especially one with a ton of power. Just to esay to cut corners so to speak.

I had 250hp in my bike, couldn't get it to hook up with street tires and pulled 10.3's all the time. My C5 is more fun to drive, and I don't miss my bike(s) any more. Once you find out that you can turn the tunes up, the A/C on and the roof keeps you dry.....party on!

i dont understand what your sayingmph doesnt mean anything, you have to hit the brakes its not the texas mileand thats my NA time, i told you my car is equipped with nitrous it will do 144 with a 100 shot and its an automatic, will it beat all bikes hell no, but it has so far, bring your bike out and we can see if your the 1
Where's the time slips? And that's still 6mph slower than the faster times.

So, after the long weekend I guess I still do enjoy my car. Totally different feeling. I don't feel the pull on the bike like I do in the car. Both have their ups and downs. I do love some AC though! We will see... Both are still pretty new to me. With the wonderful Kansas weather I am getting a lot of time driving... My Jetta, that is...
