2006 Z06 Floor Mat retainer/donut/clip/grommet
Hello,
I am sorry if I am re-covering an issue that has been spoke about and clarified. I have been researching this issue for hours and spent about 45 minutes at a local chevy dealer
I have a stock 2006 z06 and I am missing the retainer/donut/clip/grommet attachments for the drivers side floor mat (the circular retainers in the floor mat). I went to dealer, gave the parts guy my VIN and he said the retainers come in a kit (GM part number 19167704). So I ordered two and picked them up earlier this week. After comparing them with passenger side retainer I saw a few differences: color, outer diameter and inner diameter. The chevy dealer does not know what to tell me. He said its the only part they have listed.
Can someone help me? Have these old retainers been replaced? Is the old/original retainer still available? If so where can I buy it?
I tried to look on the retainer I have for part numbers with no luck.
Thank you in advance!

I'd suggest that you look for used 06 stock floor mats and take the retainers off of those. I took my retainers off my 07 mats and put them on Lloyds mats that I purchased. Worked great...
