It is a custom made box that a friend of mine built for me. he is a cabinet maker so he is one hell of a carpender.
When it was finished I had it painted VR to match the car.

The front splash guards are from Apsis and no they don't damage the paint at all. At least I can't see problem with it and I'm as **** as they get.

What oil tank cover do you have?
My dry sump stainless cover was made by "American Car Craft" they are a forum vendor and IMO the absolute best in fabricating stainless pieces for your Vette.

As far as the wax goes I honestly don't know since my detailer does it for me as well as the clay barring and stuff like that. I do however maintain it with Maguiers "gold" detail spray then I follow it up with Zaino Z8 grand finale spray.
