Congrats Brian!!! The vette is still running strong!!! Took it to the track this weekend and right off the interstate in the nasty Mississippi heat/humidity it went an 11.1!!!

My only problem with it is that all my neighbors come over and ask me why the car sounds like its missing LOL

Had the opportunity to drive a Viper for a few hours a year or so back. Exciting ride, no doubt, but the ergonomics in the older models needed some work. My lower back was screaming by the end of the trip. Hope your experience is better than mine, but they didn't really improve on much until '03 or so.

Also, I will probably have an '04 or so Viper at some point in the next few years.

Congrats and enjoy!

Oh man, that's great to hear! Just wait until you get some cooler/drier weather. The one thing I was most proud of your Vette for is that I got the 10.91 1/4 mile time, at full weight. Nothing was taken out of the car for weight savings, not the passenger seat, nothing. No skinny wheels up front, or anything like that. Full street weight! Full street trim!

You get guys bragging that they have a low 11 sec or high 10 sec cars, which they might with all the weight savings they've done for the track. Then when you see them on the streets, you blow their doors off.

I miss my/your Vette! But the Viper is soooo nice. Definetly not as fast, but very nice to just cruise around in. The pictures of my Viper cant compare to how it looks in person. Just like the pics/videos of your Vette cant compare to how it looks/sounds in person.

Keep me posted!
