Oof, not a good thing to find today.
Test fitting my new drag wheels and stumbled upon...
Hoping its just road paint since its on the drivers side and not evidence of some sort of damage repair?
Just bought the car in August used with 28,000 miles on it.

Doesn't mean hit/accident damage. It may have been a blemish on the fender/quarter panel and the dealer has a vendor or their body shop do a quick respray. I would pull the inner fender and take a closer look. If nothing else is brand new components, don't sweat it. There are TONS of cars out there that have had minor repairs made to the body panels not due to being "hit."

I've always had the suspicion that something was done on that side of the car, when you look down the side of the car there is an area right by the rear wheel that look odds in the clear, I have claybarred and tried hand polishing it and it is still there, guessing that's what they touched up
