Was wondering which kit you use to celan your CAI filter...

I know there are a few choices so I want to make sure to get the right one..

K&N makes a few different 99-5050 or the 99-5000

or maybe another brand...

If you are speaking of a washable filter, I use a good de-greasing detergent like Simple Green, and plenty of hot water. I first flush filter with hot water, put filter in detergent hot water mix to soak in bucket or service sink - and thoroughly rinse again with plenty of hot water - shake dry or blow dry. Some filters 'like' to have light oil applied before use.

I think the K & N part numbers only have to do with if the stuff is aerosol or pump based. Pretty sure the fluid is the same. Call the company if you aren't sure. I don't have a K & N in my Corvette but in my other cars... Their cleaning/recharge stuff works great!
