The red Corvette
Just a funny little story:
My boss was on the phone with our customer today. The customer could not find our office. After a few minutes of confusing references to local landmarks and using north, south, east, and west for turns and directions, he finally just said, "It's the one with the red Corvette out front!"
The guy found us instantly.
I just sat down at my desk with a big smile on my face.

I was cruising home today and the Prince song "Little Red Corvette" came on the stereo. Rocked to it while jetting somewhere just a little north of the legal speed limit...

Same thing here. I'm fortunate to have a parking space just outside my classroom where I teach so that whenever someone that is unfamiliar with our campus needs to see me, I just say look for the red Vette.
Works every time!

Similar story . . . when my brother got married in 1976, it was an out-of-town wedding that required the wedding party to be put up in a motel none of us were familiar with. He was concerned that no one would be able to find it, as it was on one of those "motel rows" of numerous similar establishments. I was then driving a '72 LT-1 convertible I had bought new, so all of our friends knew the car. I just parked it on the grass out front, and everyone saw it and turned right in.
