What does 470 rear wheel hp and 434 rear wheel ft lbs torque translate to ratings at the flywheel? Interested as to how your actual car compares to factory provided numbers . . . .

Well,using the 15% drivetrain loss calculation,it's 540.5 flywheel and 499.10 torque.:Even using a 13% loss it's still 531.10 HP,well above factory ratings..gotta love it! Keep in mind all dyno's are different.Some high,some low.

Yeah, thanks for posting! I'm pretty impressed being that it is suppose to be 505hp at the flywheel with 470 tq. Those are solid numbers!
What I love about the vette (especially the 427) is there is so many customization and performance upgrades available vs the AMG E63 I just came out of. I loved the Benz but this car has a real fun factor and is very affordable to upgrade. I can imagine solid gains from a cam, CAI, headers, & exhaust.

Looks to be uncorrected numbers, just to high for stock power. Look at the the post with both corrected and uncorrected runs to see the power difference.
Usually it says on the print out what mode the dyno was in.

Wow. These are Corrected Number.
The first things Brian Ask me after the first run was "What have you done to it?". I looked at him and said " Drove it, Nothing else". Then ask if it had the Stock Air filter. I said "Hell it's only got 722 miles on it." He looked and laughed "725 NOW!"
He told me that most new Z06's that come in will pull between 430hp- 440hp. And every once in while they will get one that pulls big numbers. " He said the motor must have been built on a Wensdsay LOL.
I've always live by "Brake 'em in like you'er going to drive it!"

I saw a test on TV a few years ago and if I remember correctly the drive train loss for the manual corvette was among the very best; only 12 percent!
