Default Popping out of front end

At very slow speeds while turning the wheel I hear poping clearly coming from my front end.
2008 C6 convertible.
Any member experiences the same?

The first thing that I would do is to make sure everything is tight in the front suspension. On of the usual places to look after making sure everything is tight is the sway bar end links. another thing to make sure os is the brake caliper bolts are torqued and not moving under braking. You may need to get it on a lift and check the ball joints and upper A-arm brackets.

I have had the sound for years. Don't know where it is coming from I have replaced the sway bar end links several times. I had it on a lift and all the front end components were checked with nothing showing a problem.

I would vote for end links making that sound.

If this happens turning tight at low speed it is completely normal.

The wide front tires have two different turning radiuses for the inner vs the outer tread.

Thus it skips.

yeah mine has been doing it for years too! Doesn't seem it's getting worse.
