Default Just installed XLR Shift **** in my A4 2005

Well like many out there, I have always hated the automatic shift **** that is in the automatic C5 and C6. I thought there was no hope until I read Philip Monty's post.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...xlr+shift+****

Here are a couple of pictures of the install;

As you can see I removed a large portion of the metal and white plastic

Just low enough for me to see the ac controls

I decided to install an led light given that I had everything apart

Side to side comparison

Great Job, I always disliked the way it looked in the 05's, it was so tall looking. Nice work

That does look alot better. With mine I ended up peeling the leather off and having it hydrocarbon dipped.

thanks guys

Im not to thrilled about the woodgrain, but once I get tired of it, I can easily change it by painting or adding sometype of decal

Wow! Looks great man! I'm really happy someone else can enjoy this mod. It really cleans up the interior. You can paint or cover up that wood grain if you want. Enjoy!
