Default How do you know its a Z51?

Ok, newbie here...but how can one tell if a corvette is a Z51 or not? Any tell tale signs or what do you look for??? Thanks!!!

Look for the sticker in the door jam and look for the z51 code.

Actually the sticker is on the inside of the glove box door.

And the codes are in alphabetical order, with numbers last, so "Z51" would be near the bottom of the list.

Many C6s with vented rotors are not Z51s. I don't remember the model year, but some Magnetic Selective Ride C6s had vented rotors. Vented rotors are also parts you can order to put on a non-Z51 car.

You're thinking of crossdrilled, which are the little holes on the face of the rotor. This rotor is both vented and crossdrilled:

Because it's faster then every other non z06/zr1 Vette out there...and Z51 owners get mad when you tell them different!
