HELP, How do you replace emergency brake boot
It seems I broke the plastic holding the boot into console, so today lucky me the dealership had one in stock. So I bought the assembly, so now how do I remove emergency handle to replace the boot assembly.
Let's make it simple, cause it doesn't look complicated. What I see I have remove center console lid, to gain access to the screw holding on the handle.
Anybody have any better idea's!
Thanks.

Retired & lovin' it!
Be very careful when you take the 4 screws out of the center console cover. The material is some sort of fiber board & the screw threads can easily be stripped. Same thing when replacing.....don't over-tighten.
