Mpg?
I just got the car and wanted to see if I'm "on the right track" with fuel economy.

On my very first trip with my 05, on the hour long trip home from the dealer, I managed to get 31.1 MPG! Not a bad way to start out my ownership with the car! Driving around town I'm getting closer to 17 though, having a lot of fun with it!

Averaging 19.9 MPG overall for the first 3400 miles in my 012 A6 with NPP. Several calculations indicate I'm getting about 15.5 MPG in town and 23 MPG on the interstate & 45 MPH highways. That's slightly less than what I was getting with my 08 A6, but not much different.

Drifting
I think if you're averaging around 15 then you're driving the car appropriately. If you're getting better than that then you may want to consider modifying your driving habits. ;-)
