Yep. That's about right.
I have an '05 with LS2. Get about 19.7 combined city/hwy. Get about 26-27 on a long trip using a lot of 6th gear.

On my very first trip with my 05, on the hour long trip home from the dealer, I managed to get 31.1 MPG! Not a bad way to start out my ownership with the car! Driving around town I'm getting closer to 17 though, having a lot of fun with it!

I get 29 on the highway and 14 around town. I drive 3 miles to work every day so it never gets out of the enrichment mode. The positive side of this is I only fill it up once a month.

GS Vert

Get around 16 mpg avg (70% of driving is city)

Get around 26 highway at 75 to 80.

My 2001 vert got around 19 mpg (70% of driving is city)
Got around 31 highway at 70 to 80

Gearing makes a big difference

Averaging 19.9 MPG overall for the first 3400 miles in my 012 A6 with NPP. Several calculations indicate I'm getting about 15.5 MPG in town and 23 MPG on the interstate & 45 MPH highways. That's slightly less than what I was getting with my 08 A6, but not much different.

I think if you're averaging around 15 then you're driving the car appropriately. If you're getting better than that then you may want to consider modifying your driving habits. ;-)
