Default Momma Lied

Am I bad? For the longest time I drove and stayed away from
Competition Mode. Then hi-speed driving school and autocross.
Now I drive almost all the time in Competition Mode.
It's a new level of fun my nanny didn't tell me about.

That's funny, I always drive in comp mode. I only use full nannys in bad weather. Guess I don't listen too good.....

This is what I do as well. I don't like the potential scenario where if I stomp on the gas because I need to get across a lane of traffic and the TC engages shutting down the fuel/spark leaving me briefly stalled in traffic.

I used to ride in comp mode a lot but then I read Chuck CoW's writings about how the factory tune is actually less responsive in comp mode. I ran some tests with my butt-o-meter and concluded he is right. So now I mostly just leave full nannies on.

Got Boost?

Jitsu -
That's it. Leaving Corvette Club meetings at Henna Chevrolet
in Austin @ 9:00 P.M the frontage road to Rt 35 is 3 lanes in front of Henna and there is an exit ramp just up before it. All you can see is
a lot of headlights and some of those are changing lanes from coming off the exit. Henna has a little 3 inch lip on their driveway and that will
consistently set off the TC.
So here you are jumping out ion traffic and the car effectively stalls.
Not a pleasant thing.

I just leave it on, I really want to try out the launch control but it sounds so harsh on the car.
