My 08 at dealer for service OMG
Question my 08 garage queen with 16000 came out of storage so I took in for oil change. The dealer is recommending that I flush the fluids for the transmission, coolant, and brake. Also a rear differential service for a grand total of $653. The car is automatic and is not tracked just a weekend toy. I did buy new in spring of 09 with museum pickup. I don't mind paying if it needed. Looking for advise.

My 08 Z06 is going in to have the rear end and trans fluid changed in the next 2 weeks along with the valve wiggle test. Warranty expires May next month. Age and time is why the fluids need changing and yours is not the only garage queen........

My 2005 was a garage queen and had roughly 29k miles on it when I sold it. Without seeing the condition of the fluids it would be hard for anyone to say it is “needed” but a lot of us here change the oil long before it is actually needed. With that said, around 20k miles I did coolant, brake fluid and transmission and I can tell you that I paid NO WHERE near $653. If I remember correctly, I paid $120 + the cost of the fluids. I brought my own fluids so the shop just charged me for the labor.

Plenty of independent vette mechanics w/their own shop who do the same thing, probably much, much cheaper.
Ask other vette owners in your area. Corvette club members would be a wealth of info for this.

Just an oil change. Although it's a little earlier than what the owner's manual says, I'd think about an auto. tranny fluid change and maybe a coolant change about 50K.

5 years is a good number for fluid changes; other than oil of course. Not so sure about the brake fluid though. That's overkill if you don't track the car. Coolant is said to start deteriorating at 5 years and I've heard that Dexcool will actually start to "gel" when it begins to discolor. I prefer to play it safe with the coolant, trans and diff every 50,000 or 5 years. I also perform those myself too.

I'd say no thanks. If you're in Naperville, you're close to me. Next time you do the oil change, stop by. We will do it in 15 minutes on my 4 post lift. My lift will be open in 3 or 4 weeks when I move one of my early muscle cars to another location. If you do the shows, look for a CE vert Callaway and say hi.

as far as coolant, i just drained my coolant when the 160 stat was put in and it looked like the day it came out of the bottle. Don't waste your money, not for a while....
edit: sorry, i have 27,xxx miles on my car

It's time for the brake fluid flush and the coolant flush!
Apparently money doesn't matter because you aren't doing the work yourself so let them do the work!

Radiator coolant service life is 5 years or 100,000 Transmission fluid life is 100,000. Differential lube should be changed at 50,000, Brake fluid flush at 5 years is about right.
So based on your milage it seems like a waste of money, However fluids and lubricants do degrade over time, and there is no down side to changing them early just for peace of mind. like others have said, the dealer prices seem very high to me.
