Default Found source of my rattle and squeek underneath the car - simple fix

Initially I thought it was the end link problem. Rattling and slight squeeking (but really loud) when hitting rough patches in the road (seemed like mostly at low speeds but I think it was just easier to hear). Turned out to be the springs attached to/holding up the exhaust near the x-pipe! After spraying some wd-40 on them and wiggling the exhaust the noise disappeared....not a single noise coming from the car when hitting rough spots.

Just wanted to share this info in case anyone else has this issue because it's a simple fix. The noise was driving me nuts...

Thanks, I was about to replace my end links at 48K. I will try lubing the hangers to see if that fixes the noise.

I posted this before on a separate post where I was getting a slight rattle around 2k rpms in second and third gear. I sprayed the same part and my rattle went away.
