My prayers go out to your son, my brother who is 36 yrs old has two kids and a rare form of cancer called carcinoid syndrome, doc gave him 2-3yrs and that was almost two years ago...it could always be worse...hope your son gets the best treatment available and is relieved of the pain...best wishes my friend...

Default update 4/25/13

Update: 4/25/13: More Surgery needed. My son is exhausted but the Dr from Georgetown U Hospital said that once he goes in he will be able to tell what path he will take to repair the nerves around the missing calf that is giving Tyler so much pain down the leg and thru the ankle/foot.I am out of words for the moment.

It sounds like the doc from Georgetown has a plan. I pray the doctor can give your son relief. Take care.

Thats wonderful news Mike. It's a great facility and I am sure he is the hands of the best. Will keep Tyler in our prayers until he is pain free again.

Remember to breathe, Mike...a good, deep breath every now and again will help clear your head.

I don't get much chance of doing that...but thank you.

Last night was Senior Night at my daughters High School for her Volleyball game. Usually the parents escort their Senior child etc etc...Our Daughter asked if it would be OK if Tyler could be her escort. Wasn't a dry eye in the house.
