Default My COW review (Brutally honest and NOT a fight/bash thread!!)

So i decided to go with a Cow booster and tune with the thermostat change. I've only had it a few hours but i've been driving it since i left his shop, and i have to say, I'm glad i did it!! I'm still getting used to it but so far so good! The booster is so much more responsive early on in the pedal it feels great! The shifts are so much more responsive when you hit the gas as well!! The car shifts when you expect it to now and the power is there as soon as you need it, not 2-3 seconds after you punch it!! The only thing i noticed is when at low speeds, really low like coming to a light, and then hitting the gas slightly while still rolling the shift seems a little hard (actually hard is not the right word, more like not smooth). I honestly think it is me not being used to the car yet so i'm sure it will be fine in a week or two, and if it's not, I am not worried about it because i KNOW chuck will make it better!!!

Now, on to the review of chuck. I'm reviewing him because of all the responses i've gotten and all the PM's i've received researching chuck and asking about him. I did NOT experience any of the negatives people told me about... Since i first contacted him by phone wednesday night till he finished today I did not experience anything of what i was told to look out for. He was not arrogant, not a dic*, not a scammer, nothing but respectful and helpful and professional!! He took the time to explain everything he possibly could in a short period of time, and i was with him every step of the way. Even his mechanic that installed the stat was professional. He treated my car as i would have treated it if i was working on it. Not once did either of them say i can't go near my car while on the lift or you can't stay here etc like other shops do..... Also, not once did he rush to get me done!! He took his time every step of the way.

Thank you chuck, for making me a believer! I couldn't be happier!!

So do I take it you have an A6? Just curious the reason for the 160 stat?

Not true. Oh, and don't forget the accelerated piston ring wear.

Do the fans have to be reprogrammed to kick on with the 160 stat?

Default SPECIAL for 2005 OWNERS ONLY!

SPECIAL for 2005 OWNERS ONLY!

While every other CoW BOOSTER! goes out the door with 2 modes of operation,

Only the 2005 C6 has 3 modes of CoW BOOSTER FUN!

A quick note..... SPRINT BOOSTER and Throttle Box don't work for the 2005 cars and if you try them your

pcm will likely blow up.

CoW BOOSTER! is the ONLY way to go for any LSx platform.

1,000 sold and more every day.... Escalade, Corvette, Camaro, Silverado, TBSS, HUMMER, CTS-V

and the list goes on....and on...

Call any time.

My tune from chuck is going on two years and very pleased. Added some Borla Stingers and she sounds and runs great. Chuck has always been very responsive and went above and beyond to service my car. Happy customer
