Do you need ear protection while using the master blaster? I heard it's noisy.

Without looking I think the Master Blaster is rated at 250 mph. I bought a 240 mph electric leaf blower for about $60.

Works great for me!

Get a shammy cloth and keep it in your trunk. Go to the touchless, or spray it your self car washes then dry it with the shammy.
Your reference to the (shammy) cloth is an excellent phonetic pronunciation of the word CHAMOIS which is a small goatlike antelope from whom the skin thereof is made into a car drying product known as a chamois. This might help to buy one if they advertise and name it correctly on the package in the store. FWIW humbly submitted for info only.

Coin operated car wash with wands that I use has a spotless rinse cycle. Have never needed a blow dryer.

Thats what I do then get on the highway and by the time my 10 mile ride home is done the car is dry and spot free. I keep a nice coat of wax on it so that also helps

Not nearly as loud as my backpack Echo gas blower. I've only used it a few times, but haven't felt the need for ear protection. WHAT DID YOU SAY ????

Same here, Black and Decker 240 mph. it also sucks up and mulches the leaves in the fall.

Me too. Does a great job with a quick follow up with a microfiber towel.

Leaf blower to dry Vette?
Only if you rake leaves with a microfiber towel.

Default Shop Vac

I use my 6HP shop vac...

I have the reducer attachment that decreases the diameter of the flex tube, increases velocity.

I usually have a clean sump and I use the High Efficiency filter just to keep any snit from going through.

Very inexpensive and quick

I also been using a leaf blower for years for my cars and motorcycle.

Lately I have been considering the Master Blaster, not the 399.00 model but the 150 or 200.00 model.

You might want to consider using a rinseless wash system if you have such salty water and issues from it. Products like ONR (Optimum No Rinse) carry water softners and other ingredients to try and control mineral content. You will also benefit in that they dont leave water (no rinse feature) and thus no leaf blower nor Master Blaster is needed. These products are very well used and documented for regular and light washing and areas with bad water as well as water restrictions.

See, I had to read this AFTER washing the car this afternoon and then vacuuming it out with a shop-vac. Also it occurs to me I have an electric leaf blower, but this time of year I only use it to blow away the sand that my big tires leave on the carport. Of course it's most fun to wash and rinse as fast as I can and then give it an Italian blow-dry (100mph dash down my back road with no troopers).

I bought this about a month ago. Best thing I ever did. I wash and let it dry.
