Leaf blower to dry Vette?
#23
I always go to the touchless car washes, not even the hand wash places are safe. I used to work at a hand car wash place right out of high school. We used the same wash rags for the nice cars as we did for the dirty grunge cars. Dirt used to stick in the wash mitts.
Get a shammy cloth and keep it in your trunk. Go to the touchless, or spray it your self car washes then dry it with the shammy.

Shop Vac
I use my 6HP shop vac...
I have the reducer attachment that decreases the diameter of the flex tube, increases velocity.
I usually have a clean sump and I use the High Efficiency filter just to keep any snit from going through.
Very inexpensive and quick

You might want to consider using a rinseless wash system if you have such salty water and issues from it. Products like ONR (Optimum No Rinse) carry water softners and other ingredients to try and control mineral content. You will also benefit in that they dont leave water (no rinse feature) and thus no leaf blower nor Master Blaster is needed. These products are very well used and documented for regular and light washing and areas with bad water as well as water restrictions.

Drifting
See, I had to read this AFTER washing the car this afternoon and then vacuuming it out with a shop-vac. Also it occurs to me I have an electric leaf blower, but this time of year I only use it to blow away the sand that my big tires leave on the carport. Of course it's most fun to wash and rinse as fast as I can and then give it an Italian blow-dry (100mph dash down my back road with no troopers).

I bought this about a month ago. Best thing I ever did. I wash and let it dry.
