They did the same for an internet buy on my last 5th Gen Camaro. I offered them a ridiculous offer for a discount and the took it. The bad news is that the car had been ran pretty hard as time eventually proved. I traded the car quickly.

700 beat miles. You know they had fun with it for that 700 miles.

im not sure after the lies why you would even still be considering buying from them. just buy from someone else. im sure there are plenty of more honest sellers...

Default No sale

Dealer declined to offer anything for the 700 miles. Sounded like he was mad at me for even requesting another price.
I declined to buy the car. As a salesman once told me ' There's an axx for every seat.'
Fortunately, there are a boatload of 2012 and 2013 new cars out there.

Right decision in my book, They would have had to give me at least $1000 off, new tires and a GMPP! Let 'em keep it!

Mine had 8 miles on it. That sounds a Demo. Think of it this way, it's already broken in.

I personally think they should have been up front with you about the mileage. You have to decide. Good Luck

Let him be mad. If he is interested in selling it then he'll give you a call. 700 miles is a lot for a new Vette. Mine had two when I first drove it.

Good call. Plenty of 12 and 13's out there. One of them has your name on it.

Good Luck.

But what if he calls tomorrow with a better deal?? price?? then what will you do...???

If it's the exact car you want... and can't find another.... I would have asked for the best GMPP warr. with $0 deduct. and called it a day.... come on I just bought an 06 with 51K on it.... got him to give me a warr.. and have flown far, to buy sight unseen (Just internet pics) you gotta be willing to say "take me back to the airport" and be willing to airfare home if car is not exactly what you want. Or settle for a dealer near you...

I have also had 1 car shipped to me.... yup they damaged it!!!
so I drive em home myself now...

I leased a lincoln mkx a few years back for my wife that the owner of the dealership used for 4k miles. I leased it because they took thousands off the price..... My only concern is that he said an employee "probably" took the car home?!?!?! How does he not know where 700 miles went?
I have also gotten Demo cars, for way less than MSR. But the dealer always knew who had put the miles on. (his wife both times she liked sport cars).

Default Thanks again. Bought a 2012.

While I cannot say if he lied, failed to notice or just forgot to mention it, the fact that he got all out of sorts because I questioned the whole thing, he did not get my business.
I found a 2012 coupe in another state and have purchased that one. Waiting to hear when I can expect it to arrive in Virginia.
Sometimes a dealer forgets he is not the sole source for a car. There aren't that many models or colors and there are many dealers.
