They did the same for an internet buy on my last 5th Gen Camaro. I offered them a ridiculous offer for a discount and the took it. The bad news is that the car had been ran pretty hard as time eventually proved. I traded the car quickly.

im not sure after the lies why you would even still be considering buying from them. just buy from someone else. im sure there are plenty of more honest sellers...

Dealer declined to offer anything for the 700 miles. Sounded like he was mad at me for even requesting another price.

Mine had 8 miles on it. That sounds a Demo. Think of it this way, it's already broken in.

If it's the exact car you want... and can't find another.... I would have asked for the best GMPP warr. with $0 deduct. and called it a day.... come on I just bought an 06 with 51K on it.... got him to give me a warr.. and have flown far, to buy sight unseen (Just internet pics) you gotta be willing to say "take me back to the airport" and be willing to airfare home if car is not exactly what you want. Or settle for a dealer near you...
I have also had 1 car shipped to me.... yup they damaged it!!!
so I drive em home myself now...

"new" means never titled before. Cars can be used by dealer employees for up to 5k miles (i think) using their dealer plates. He didn't lie to you, but probably didn't tell you the miles on purpose... Only you can decide if you should buy the car. I leased a lincoln mkx a few years back for my wife that the owner of the dealership used for 4k miles. I leased it because they took thousands off the price..... My only concern is that he said an employee "probably" took the car home?!?!?! How does he not know where 700 miles went?

While I cannot say if he lied, failed to notice or just forgot to mention it, the fact that he got all out of sorts because I questioned the whole thing, he did not get my business.
I found a 2012 coupe in another state and have purchased that one. Waiting to hear when I can expect it to arrive in Virginia.
Sometimes a dealer forgets he is not the sole source for a car. There aren't that many models or colors and there are many dealers.
