Default Trunk Capacity

I did some searching couldn't find a topic.

Since I'm going to be using one as a daily driver how much can you reasonably put in the trunk? I ask for simple tasks like grocery shopping or a box for a piece of electronic equipment and the like. Thanks!

In the coupe you have 22 cubic feet of space. Quite larger than many auto trunks of today. You will have no problems at all with the space meeting your needs.

We haul stuff in our C6 that won't fit into the grocery-getters.
For more ordinary objects, the trunk is odd-shaped and so we use soft duffle-type luggage for any trip over a week.

All of this has fit, WITH the hatch closed. I've brought home a 47" flat screen TV in mine. I've brought home 14 40 lb. bags of water softener salt another time. I've took 3 full size suit cases, plus all the carry on stuff to airports several times. I've fitted 2 full shopping carts of groceries and supplies more times than I can remember. I've taken many full loads to the Salvation Army, with everything from several large trash bags of clothes, to computer monitors, tools, supplies, etc.

And, no one would be able to tell it, because I put it on a moving quilt covering the carpet area, and there are no scratches or scuffs anywhere.

So, as mine being a daily driver too, it's worked out fine for me.

We travel on road trips every summer, and we go for long trips. Our coupe can hold 2 luggage bags that are 25" long X 18"wide X 12" deep side by side, and still enough room for a few other small items on the sides.
That's why it's a road trip cruiser.

My vert has less vertical space than the coupe and even a bit less with the top down. But forms sports car there is an amazing amount of space back there. We've taken the car on vacation with plenty of room for the needed luggage, etc.

I wouldn't consider that useful space, but it can certainly be used in 'emergencies' . For a road trip, I wouldn't want anything large/heavy not secured by the 'lip' behind the seats, since it can be a projectile in an accident. The coupe is probably the only sports car (2-seater) in the market with enough trunk space for a multi-day trip for 2 people .

Here's a pic I took over Christmas break. Took the vette from Raleigh,NC to Moss Point, Ms; roughly 900 miles. My car is a daily driver that I do monthly grocery pickup trips in all of the time among other things. I also have leave my 10" sub in no matter where I'm going. Trust me plenty of space for most things reasonable.

Contents:
2 Regular Size Suticases
1 travel size
1 carry-on
wife's purse (hidden)
book-bag
computer printer (hidden)
2 laptops & tablets (hidden)
5 gallon bucket worth of cleaning supplies (hidden)
1 10" sub-woofer
Bible

oh wow I didn't think that would all fit. Impressive! Where'd you get that cover for the trunk lid?
