Sold the vette...goodbye for now!
Thanks to everyone here on the forum for so much info and advise over the years. Due to current events I decided to sell the vette and try and save a little money for the future. I retired after 25 years in law enforcement and only work part time to stay busy. I have a very good retirement income but it is still a lot less than I made towards the end of my career. Anyway, I had three vehicles, the wifes BMW, a truck and the vette. Sold the truck and the vette to save money and bought a used 350Z to drive around and still have a fun little sports car. It's funny, on the 350Z forum, they talk about how fast their cars are I just smile knowing the little Z is fun, nice car, but...well you all know. Anyway, I will be back! Maybe once the morgage, 3 more years, is gone a C7 maybe.... See ya'll....

Enjoy the Z not a bad compromise, had one prior to purchasing my Vette.

Enjoy the new car, and retirement. Had a couple guys in a 370Z pull up next to me yesterday at a red light, as soon as the light turned green, they dropped back, and got behind me

have you gotten use to the blind spots? i like the 350z and think it's a great value car. really nice ones are 15k and they are more refined than the mustang gt the compete against price wise
my only gripe was rear and side visibility
still, i have to admit that i have considered keeping more of my money in my account and buying a 2005-2006 350z over a same year corvette just because of the $$

Yeh, a while back. It was a BMW Z4M. Cost about the same as the c6 vette. You are right, got tired of it and bought another C6 vert. A little different now. i did not replace my vette with the 350Z. The little Z was cheap, just a DD but still sporty. I will be get another vette...It's in my blood. I have had 6 vettes and will have more!

You had a nice car. One of the things I love about Corvettes is that you don't have to spend a lot of money to own one. Hopefully you can get back in a Corvette soon.

Good luck in your retirement and hope you enjoy the Z car. I had an 05 grand touring roadster with the rev up engine and it was a fun car. I justified buying it because it was so much cheaper than a vet and still sporty. A year later my buddy came over with his new c5 and I drove it. The next day I traded it in on a vet and have never looked back. I had vets in the 60's and I still love a good old big torque V8. You can stay on the forum and let us know how you are doing and what you think of the Z car. I still have a brand new set of Fairlady luggage made for the trunk of a z car you can have real cheap..
