C6.r?
I was out today cruising in my vette and spotted a yellow Z06, nice looking ride I might add. I noticed on the back, right above where it says Corvette- I see a C6.R plaque. Now, on the side of the car there was the Z06 insignia. I am little perplexed, it seems to me the C6R would be above the Zr1 in terms of specs. Whats the deal? Vette'perts please clear this confusion!!

The C6R is a straight race prepared car by Pratt & Miller. It is not a street car. Pratt & Miller do offer a C6RS, but I don't be;ieve there are many out there at the prices they cost to modify the original Corvette. Also they are designated with the C6RS on the side front fender just like the Z06 and ZR1.
As for the 2009 GT1 Championship Edition, I am almost 100% positive that they did not have a C6R badge on the rear bumper. So I would guess you saw some one that had a badge made up. There are a lot of Corvette Racing fans out there that do show their support for the team with different badges and decals on their cars. You will see a lot of them in the Corvette Corrals at the ALMS races.
