Exhaust collars for NPP dual mode
Who has these installed and how do you like them? I've been thinking of getting a set to add with my M2W.

I have a set, but they are not installed. I like the sound with it wide open, and only close them during early morning cruising through my very quiet neighborhood.

I have them installed and are still experimenting some. They're nice as you can determine how much you want the valves to close if you don't want the complete silence.

I think I'm one of the few that do have them on, and have for about three years. Excellent is my opinion (don't have M2W). Keeps them open just a bit all the time which means I hear the exhaust the way I like it throughout the rpm range, and when I floor it, it's wide open. Had to adjust them more closed than I thought---too much noise at 1/4 open.

I installed the collars to keep it slightly open (about 1/4") all the time.
The sound was perfect for me. Works great, very pleased!
The collars are easily adjustable... you can fine-tune the "quiet" mode... make it exactly as loud as you want!
With the engine off...
With the engine at idle...
Of course, this does NOT affect the NPP's normal operation -- it still fully opens the exhaust above ~3500 rpm.
And with an exhaust controller (M2W, Sunset Orange) you can still remotely fully-open the exhaust whenever you want.

Thanks gents! I agree that the exhaust is just too quiet with the valves completely shut. I'm going to install a set of these collars.

I just ckd his website and unless he's just out of them, it's still on his website under mild to wild. Can't list website 'cause he's not a vendor but you know where to go. Plus, I did forget in my post that extra long allen wrench to adjust the screws. Seems flimsy but is thin and high strength!
